Subsurface Utility Imaging, LLC identifies, traces, marks, locates, excavates, and maps subsurface utilities, both terrestrial and sub-aquatic, in accordance with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) document titled Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data.
ASCE Level C: Traditional Topographic and Utility Survey
ASCE Level B: Utilization of Geophysical Methods – Radio Frequency (RF), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Electromagnet Induction (EM), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and acoustic devices.
ASCE Level A: Non-destructive Vacuum Excavation and 3-Dimensional Location (sometimes referred to as potholing or soft dig).
